Information Of Programmes

VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF HEALTHCARE SERVICES / SAĞLIK KURUMLARI İŞLEMECİLİĞİ

History

Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Vocational School of Health Services was opened in 1992-1993 academic year in our province, affiliated to Erciyes University. Existing students were transferred to Erciyes University Halil Bayraktar Health Services Vocational School by not accepting students in the 1993-1994 academic year. Our college, which did not accept students in the following years, was affiliated to Nevşehir University with the establishment of Nevşehir University in 2007, and Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Vocational School of Health Services Health Institutions Management Program started its formal education at the associate degree level in the 2012-2013 academic year. The language of instruction is Turkish.


Qualification Awarded

Health Institutions Management Department; In addition to basic management knowledge, it trains qualified manpower that has hospital management knowledge, wants to have a professional career in this field and is needed by the health sector.


Level of Qualification

Having successfully completed two years (four semesters) education period and summer internship program.


Specific Admission Requirements

Students who are entitled to enroll according to the university exams and equivalent exam results made by ÖSYM can complete the final registration.


Specific Arrangement For Recognition of Prior Learning

Must have a High School Degree.


Qualification Requirements and Regulations

In order for the candidates to graduate from the program, they must complete a total of 108 course hours, including 86 compulsory and 22 elective courses, however, the total national credits of the course taken by the candidates should be 120, with 89 required ECTS credits and 31 elective credits. Again, in order for the candidates to graduate from the program, they must successfully complete the summer internship (15 + 15) of 30 working days in total.


Profile of The Programme

The Department of Health Institutions Management has the aim of preparing the managers required by the health institutions with both theoretical and practical training practices. In short, the purpose of the Health Institutions Management Department; In addition to basic management knowledge, to train qualified manpower that has hospital management knowledge, who wants to have a professional career in this field and is needed by the health sector.

Graduation Requirements
