Turkish Language Teaching Undergraduate Program, depending on Faculty of Education has been established on July 3, 2011. Our university, our undergraduate program 2014-2015 academic year student intake on the proposal March 19, 2014 dated Higher Education in the General Assembly meeting examined and Law No. 2547 of 2880 amended with the Law 7/d and article 7/h with the 2809 Act under Pursuant to Article 6 of the Law our undergraduate program has decided to take 40 students. |
Students completing the program successfully are eligible to receive a bachelor's degree in the field of Turkish Education. |
This program is a program providing education at the undergraduate level. |
For Turkish Students; Students are admitted to associate degree and undergraduate programs by the Turkish Admission Board (OSYM) according to the quality of their test scores. For Foreign Students; Within the framework of the the relevant agreements between Turkey and other countries, whether students receive financial aid in their homeland or independently financed, they must comply with the rules and regulations of Nevşehir University regarding “Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi Uluslararası Öğrenci Yönergesi” in their admission to associate degree and undergraduate programs. The details regarding the applications of the students admitted to Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University shall be announced on the website of the university in July. For Exchange Students; Our university offers adult education programs and Erasmus student Exchange & Placement programs within the framework of Lifelong Learning Program. The International Office (https://uio.nevsehir.edu.tr/en) receives and processes applications for admission to these programs. After meeting the minimum requirements, interested students must take a language proficiency test. Eligible students applications shall be sent to the corresponding departments abroad. After applications have been received by the universities, eligibility and availibility of space are checked and the necessary procedures are applied. After the completion of the student study-abroad term, The Office shall make the outgoing students be aware of the necessary documents that must be submitted. |
Students, in the last three years, in Turkey while studying in undergraduate or graduate programs in terms of section names and content of the courses in the degree program if they have been successful at taking similar courses can be exempted from these courses. |
A bachelor’s degree is awarded to students who successfully complete all the courses available in the program (for a total of 240 ECTS) and achieve a grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00. |

Candidates who have completed their undergraduate education can study in graduate programs, provided that they get a valid grade from the ALES exam, have sufficient English language knowledge, and pass the science exam. |

Students are subjected to midterm and final exam for each course.The contribution of the midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. It is necessary to obtain at least 50 points on the final exam. On one course students who gets one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) considered as successful. Students who fail will take lessons again. |
