Our faculty is established with Business, Economics and International Relations departments dependently Erciyes University with the council of ministers’ decision on 01.09.1997 and the official journal publication on 03.09.1997. In 2001-2002 education year departments of economics and in 2003-2004 year evening education of economy department started matriculation. Our faculty connected Nevşehir University Rector ship that established with the 29.05.2007 official journal publication and the law no of 26536. The course language of programme is Turkish. |

In our cuntry, it is required to succeed in Student Selection Examination (YKS) to deserve university education. For bachelor’s degree, this condition is enough to have. Students make university and programme decisions related their points. Then they send choosing forms to Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM). This institution is dependent to High Education Board (YÖK). ÖSYM gets these forms, groups applications depend on point type and put the points in order from high to low. After all these stages, place them one of their choice according to their lists. Choosing for foreign students is depending on the result of Foreign Student Examination (YOS). The documents that required in admission; 1- Diploma for high schools and their equivalents, 2- The placement result document. |

To deserve bachelor’s degree diploma on economics, students must succeed all the courses of the programme (total 240 ECTS) at least 2.00 grade point average on 4.00. |

There are one midterm and one final exam in every term for each lesson. Each exam’s contribution of succeed point is the weighted average of midterm exam (%40) and final exam (%60). Top point for every exam is 100. Students who have AA, BA, BB, CB, CC letter marks are counted as successful. DC and DD letter marks are conditioned successful marks. Students who have these two marks must have at least 2.00 grade point average to succeed the education process. |
To complete the programme successfully the students must have at least 2.00 grade point average on 4.00. |

Education activities of department are maintained with 1 professor, 4 assistant professors, 3 ast professor and 3 research assistants. The lesson’s are also maintained in classes that average 45 people capacity and have projection equipment. Department students can benefit from the library and computer lab which are all day opened freely. |
